~~D4 designs and manufactures WtE systems that convert carbon-based feedstock (such as woody biomass, MSW, agricultural waste, shredded tires, animal waste, etc.) into medium BTU content syngas.  The only byproduct from the system is clean, inert carbon or biochar which can be sold as a commodity for industrial uses such as carbon filler for the plastics, office supply, and consumer electronics industries a soil amendment or carbon-sequestering landfill cover.  Our system produces very few emissions and significantly decreases greenhouse gases by avoiding the natural production of methane before it can enter the atmosphere from a landfill and by serving as a green and renewable substitute for dirtier energy sources such as coal and fossil fuel.
 D4 systems are both modular and portable.  Each energy node is configured to produce a nominal 1.*5 MW (*0 MWh) of energy from an average of *0 tons per day of feedstock (1 MWh/ton of feedstock).  Our units can be configured in parallel to create large, utility-scale power plants or used individually or in smaller numbers for modular distributed energy solutions.   

~~D4s proprietary technology uses a unique combination of pyrolysis and hydropyrolysis  that subjects the feedstock to temperatures in excess of 1,**0F in an all gas environment.  The extreme temperature breaks the molecular bonds of the volatiles  which are allowed to reform as high-quality methane gas. The gas can be used to generate electricity or can be used directly for industrial heating or manufacturing or liquefied and fermented into biofuels. The system has virtually no emissions due to D4s innovative devolatilization process and is self-sustaining, using a very small amount of the produced energy (i.e., the parasitic load) to power the process.
 Our technology represents the state-of-the-art in transforming carbon feedstock to clean energy. Unlike competing technologies, our system does not involve combustion that produces toxic emissions.   A D4 reactor operates at no more than one atmosphere, greatly reducing the hazard associated with pressurized gas systems as well as operating costs. Our systems modular design allows flexibility of application and makes possible a broad range of new applications and markets.
